Each cruise will begin with a welcome at the Museum, where participants will see the actual Fresnel lenses of Plum Island and Little Gull lighthouses. We are one of the few museums in the world to feature a hand-cranked lighthouse lens.

Lighthouse trips include maritime and lighthouse history narration. The lighthouse cruise vessel will stop next to each lighthouse and provide photo opportunities.

We offer two types of lighthouse trips: an All-Day Cruise or an Evening Cruise.
