East End Seaport Museum

The East End Seaport Museum boasts an array of exhibits on the maritime heritage of the area, including displays on the Greenport menhaden fishing industry, the oyster industry, lighthouse lenses, a model ship of the USS Ohio, and more.

A popular exhibit at the museum are the Fresnel lenses.
The Second Order Fresnel lens is shown here. Second Order lenses,
especially in this condition, are uncommon.


Visit the gift shop, which offers maritime gifts including posters, T-shirts,
nautical music, books and items for children including: coloring books on maritime subjects,
kits for boat building and knot tying.
