deCordova Studio
The Studio is located behind a late 19th Century Victorian home and it is where the artist,Hector deCordova works.
An artist all his life, Hector is constantly evolving and working in different mediums and sometimes breaking the rules. A graduate of Parsons School of Design, he has had numerous solo and group shows in both the United States and abroad. His work is also in the permanent collections of museums and professional art organizations.
As a teacher, Hector continues to inspire students with his workshops conducted at his studio, in Museums in the United States as well as in Puerto Rico. He also is a "teacher's teacher" conducting workshops for professional artists and art teachers on Long Island.
He has been a curator and on juried panels for art organizations and is the past president of the Artist Alliance of East Hampton. He is currently on the Advisory Board for the East End Arts Council and a life member of the Art Students League.
